Junior Project Coordinator; R01-01-0131

Are you highly organised, detail-oriented and excited by the idea of supporting innovative engineering projects from start to finish? We’re looking for a Junior Project Coordinator to join our team and play a key role in ensuring projects are delivered smoothly, on time and to a high standard.

What You’ll Do

Project Coordination and Team Support:

• Organise and facilitate meetings with engineers, contractors and clients; prepare agendas, record minutes and follow up on action items.
• Assist in the preparation, review and distribution of technical documentation, reports, and project deliverables.
• Maintain clear and consistent communication across cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on project goals and timelines.

Project Planning and Resource Management:

• Support the development of project schedules, resource plans and task assignments in collaboration with engineering leads.
• Coordinate with procurement teams and external vendors to ensure timely delivery of materials and services.
• Support management of project documentation.
  

Execution and Progress Monitoring:

• Monitor project milestones, track progress against timelines and update project management systems accordingly.
• Identify potential risks, delays or issues and escalate them promptly to the Project Manager.
• Assist in quality assurance by ensuring deliverables meet internal standards and regulatory requirements.

Continuous Improvement:

• Identify opportunities to enhance system performance, reduce costs or improve reliability.
• Contribute to a learning culture.
• Contribute to maintaining and improving department and wider company processes and standards such as ISO9001 and ISO14001.

What we are looking for

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field (e.g. Engineering, Project Management, Business) or equivalent practical experience.
• Strong organisation and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills for collaborating with technical teams and stakeholders.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and familiarity with project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Jira, Asana).
• A pro-active approach to problem-solving and a keen eye for detail.
• Enthusiasm for learning and developing within a project coordination or engineering environment.
