Join our Manufacturing Team!

We have an exciting opportunity for an Advanced Level Manufacturing Apprenticeship in our prestigious manufacturing facility. The successful applicant will become a valued member of our Manufacturing Team responsible for the precision race engine components, in addition to a variety of other highly detailed and complex components.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Gaining skills in programming, setting and operating CNC machines
  • Training in manual machine tool setting and operating
  • Optimisation and problem solving techniques
  • Understanding of engineering drawings, geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GDT)
  • Liaising with other areas of the business to understand their requirements
  • Learn and understand about machining principles, materials science, and relevant industry standards

 

Essential Skills for this role:

  • Basic understanding of Engineering
  • Good communication skills
  • Computer literacy with working knowledge and proficiency of the standard suite of Office (Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Good interpersonal and excellent attention to detail
  • Basic maths skills to interpret measurements and calculations
  • Flexible approach in terms of working hours

 

What we expect from you:

  • 4 x GCSE (or equivalent) grade 5/C or above, preferably in Maths, Science and English
  • Expected duration – 48 months

This is an excellent opportunity to join our team, working hours are Monday to Friday 8am – 4pm.
