The full entry list for this year’s Le Mans 24 Hour, World Endurance Championship and European Le Mans Series was announced in Paris yesterday, 6th February.
Gibson Technology has entries in all three, with their LMP2 customer teams being powered by the Gibson / Nismo developed Nissan VK45 engine.
In the prestigious Le Mans 24 Hours Gibson will be working with ten of the twenty cars on the grid in LMP2:
· G Drive Racing, Oak Racing, Strakka Racing, SMP Racing, Pegasus Racing – all fitted with the Gibson / Nismo developed Nissan VK45 engine
· Jota Sport, Greaves Motorsport – Gibson 015S fitted with Gibson / Nismo developed Nissan VK45 engine
· Algarve Pro Racing – currently on the reserve list
In the World Endurance Championship G Drive, Oak and Strakka will be racing in LMP2 with the Gibson / Nismo developed Nissan VK45 engine.
The European Le Mans Series LMP2 grid consists of 12 cars, with Gibson supplying half of them. The VK45 engine will be supplied to Algarve Pro Racing, SMP Racing and Pegasus Racing. Greaves Motorsport and Jota Motorsport will compete with the newly upgraded Gibson 015S chassis and VK45 engine.
The first round of the WEC/ELMS season takes place at Silverstone on 10th-12th April. Gibson Technology is looking forward to a great season working with all their customer teams.
