This year’s Le Mans 24 hour race, the 87th edition of the world famous event, will feature a record breaking 62 cars and involve 186 drivers. It is also the final race of the FIA WEC Super Season.
Gibson GK428 engines will power all LMP2 cars, supporting 18 teams and 20 cars in total. In LMP1, 3 teams and 4 cars will compete with the Gibson GL458 engine.
All the LMP1 and LMP2 teams will be supported by 14 Gibson engine support staff during Le Mans week.
The 24 hour race will commence at 2pm (GMT) on Sat 15th June.
