The 60 strong entry list for the 87th 24 hours of Le Mans has been revealed. The world famous race is also the grand finale of the 2018/19 WEC Super Season, with the championship being decided.
As the single engine supplier for LMP2 class sportscars, Gibson Technology will have 17 cars on the grid powered by their British designed and manufactured GK428 engine. In addition, there are 7 cars on the reserve list for LMP2.
In LMP1, Gibson’s GL458 engine will compete in the top class of endurance racing with 3 teams; DragonSpeed, Rebellion Racing (2 car team) and ByKolles Racing.
The prestigious 2019 Le Mans 24 hours takes place on 15th-16th June.
