Congratulations to Crowdstrike Racing by APR for winning the 2025/26 Asian Le Mans Series in the Gibson powered LMP2 class following the season concluding 4 Hours of Abu Dhabi at the famous Yas Marina Circuit.
The weekend topped off an incredible series for Gibson with our GK428 engines performing incredibly well throughout the races, further testament to such a great product and to all the preparation work of our team in Repton, plus support from our teams at the circuits.
As for the racing in Abu Dhabi which saw Gibson supporting 16 cars, Crowdstrike Racing by APR set themselves up well by winning Saturday’s race which saw Algarve Pro Racing and RD Limited also on the podium.
Sunday’s eventful race saw red flags not long after the action had started, but there was a lengthy delay to repair the barriers and clear the debris.
The shortened race saw DKR Racing take the chequered flag, with Inter Europol Competition and High Class Racing in second and third place respectively.
It was a fantastic series and our congratulations goes to all the Gibson powered teams who fought so hard since December.
Although that’s the 2025/26 AsLMS series wrapped up, Gibson is back in action next month at the IMSA Mobil 1 Twelve Hours of Sebring, which promises to be one of this year’s highlights.
